Profile of Tauhid Rahman

I am Tauhid Rahman , it is with great honor that I present myself as the Director of Administration (General Secretary) for the 2024–2025 term. I served the previous two terms as a Treasurer and General Secretary. In the last term, I had the privilege of serving our community as the Director of Community Affairs. During this time, I wholeheartedly dedicated myself to implementing various Community Services, such as:

  1. Representation of Bangladeshi culture in international places like Arizona Asian American Association (AAAA) and help to bring artists from all over the Asian countries to perform IMLD.
  2. I proudly took the initiative to conduct a community census.
  3. I have been our community liaison with the LA consulate general office and bringing consular services to our valley.
  4. Our collective efforts were acknowledged with the prestigious ‘Best Organization Award’ by Fobana, recognizing our outstanding performance.
  5. Keeping harmony within our valley communities including the student association of Tucson.

I like to thank everyone for giving me a chance to serve in prior leadership and with all my knowledge and best of my ability I am asking your support to help our community strengthen in future. These experiences have equipped me with the skills and insights necessary to lead our community to new heights.

As the Director of Administrations, my primary duties and responsibilities include:

  1. The Director of Administration will act as Chief Operating Officer
  2. Responsible for coordination among all the Board Of Directors
  3. The Director of Administration will be in charge of the administrative matters of the Association
  4. Responsibility will include, but not be limited to, to maintain an updated database of all the members of the Association
  5. The Director of Administration will drive the membership initiative of the Association
  6. Act as the member secretary of the Board of Directors and will write and keep minutes of the meetings of the Board of Directors or the general body.
  7. Responsible for informing the Board of Directors members about the meetings
  8. Create sub-committees from any group of members to help in performing the duties
