Profile of Mustafa Ryadh

I am Mustafa Ryadh, currently living in Gilbert with my wife and two sons. I did my SSC from Govt. Laboratory High School, Dhaka in 1995 where I achieved 12th place in Dhaka Board. Later I studied Electrical Engineering in BUET and graduated in 2004 with a BSc degree. Later I joined as an Assistant Professor in American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB). In my career, I always believed in hard work and innovation. I was also the co-founder of the first semiconductor company in Bangladesh – Power IC Ltd. In 2012, I came to the USA to join Virginia Tech to pursue his PhD. I published 8 papers and awarded 4 patents during his PhD. After that I moved to Arizona in 2018 with a job in the semiconductor industry. Currently I am working as Staff Design Engineer in Analog Devices Inc.

I have been serving as the Director of Cultural Affairs for the last one-and-half years. During this tenure I organized many cultural performances in several programs including Annual Drama Nights with BTA in 2022, Musical Night with Rizia Parveen & others, Bijoy Mela at Laveen in December 2022, Vasa Dibosh & International mother language day in February 2023, and Pohela Boishakh at Kiwanis park in April 2023. I am always motivated to organize high quality cultural programs with old and new local performers. I am also intended to bring new flavors in community cultural activities, like he introduced new ‘Gaaner Adda’ style performances which is acclaimed by many.

I am looking forward to your support so that I can continue to serve the community with his innovative mindset, motivation, and hard work.

As the Director of Cultural Affairs, my primary duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Responsible for shaping the cultural division’s strategic direction based on the capital budget
  2. Work with community groups, nonprofits, and cultural organizations throughout the region to strengthen existing partnerships and launch new ventures
  3. Responsible for significantly increasing access to and improving arts programming and services, as well as proactive efforts to create opportunities for new talents in the community
  4. As a transformational leader, will propose innovative ways to adapt, strengthen, and when necessary, diversify the association’s programs and partnerships to meet the community’s changing needs
  5. Create sub-committees from any group of members to help in performing the duties
