I am Rezaul Aziz, also known as Rumi, and it is with great honor that I present myself as a the Executive Vice President position for the 2024\u20132025 term. In the past term, I had the privilege of serving our community as the Director of the Program. During this time, I wholeheartedly dedicated myself to implementing a diverse array of programs\u2014ranging from Community Service, National, Charity, Sports, Educational, Cultural, to International Events\u2014all with a steadfast focus on achieving Organizational Excellence. Our collective efforts were acknowledged with the prestigious ‘Best Organization Award’ within the Bangladesh-American community, recognizing our outstanding performance.<\/span><\/p>

These experiences have equipped me with the skills and insights necessary to lead our community to new heights. As the Executive Vice President, my commitment is unequivocal: I pledge to foster an inclusive environment where every voice is not only heard but valued. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs, I will hold myself and others accountable for the commitments we make to the community. I am here to serve you, to amplify your concerns and ideas, and to work towards a future where our community not only survives but thrives.<\/span><\/p>

As the Executive Vice President, my primary duties and responsibilities include:<\/span><\/p>

  1. In the event the position of President falls absent\/vacant, the executive vice-president shall take over as the acting President<\/span><\/li>
  2. Assist the President, in every possible way, in performing his\/her duties<\/span><\/li>
  3. Chair the meetings in the absence of the President or when the President is unable to present<\/span><\/li>
  4. Responsibility shall be but not limited to, to act as the chief liaison between the Board of Directors and the election commission<\/span><\/li>
  5. Prepare the annual report of the Association and present that to the Registered Members at the end of the term<\/span><\/li>
  6. Coordinate with the Director of Finance and assist for the submission of tax returns, if any, on time<\/span><\/li>
  7. Operate the bank accounts of the Association in conjunction with the President and the Director of Finance as co-signatories<\/span><\/li>
  8. Responsible for renewal of the Association’s registration status in the state where it is registered and also for maintaining the status with the Internal Revenue Services<\/span><\/li>
  9. Coordinate among different subcommittees and provide necessary assistance<\/span><\/li>
  10. Responsible for quality assurance and quality check of the events and guide or assist the Director for successful event execution<\/span><\/li>
  11. Coordinate and address legal aspects and work as the prime contact of the Association in regards to legal issues<\/span><\/li>
  12. Work as the prime contact for any compliance issues including social, regulatory etc.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
